SPONSORSHIP LEVELS

Dear Potential Donor:
The Community Kitchen (TCK) and Haywood Pathways Center (HPC) are seeking support for our 2020 Unified Charitable Golf Outing to be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Springdale Country Club. Both TCK and HPC are independent and self-funded non-profits providing for the emergency needs of those experiencing food insecurity and homelessness in Haywood County. Working together, TCK and HPC seek to address the needs of the most vulnerable throughout the entirety of the county. The annual golf tournament is one of the primary sources of financial support for both organizations; proceeds allow for the continuation of services to those desperately in need. The presence of COVID this year has affected the traditional fundraising plans of both organizations. It has also increased the demand for emergency assistance. As partners in service, we agreed to further our partnership to include this unified fundraising venture. Any monetary or in-kind donation you contribute will help not one, but two organizations as well as all the people they serve.

ADDITIONAL SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

While churches are most welcome to consider hole or leveled sponsorship as outlined above, a unique opportunity for churches is to contribute a $100 sponsorship. In return, the church’s name will be published on our volunteer t-shirts that will be worn on the day of the tournament and then throughout the community afterwards.

In addition to financial sponsorship, the following in-kind donations are most welcome!

• Gift Cards

• Golf related “swag” such as tees, balls, etc.

• Snack Foods

• Personal items such as sunscreen, Chapstick, etc.

Both TCK and HPC are faith-based 501c3 non-profit organizations providing emergency services in Haywood County to address hunger insecurity and homelessness. All contributions to both organizations are fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

TCK’s ultimate goal is to close and not be needed but Jesus tells us in Matthew 26:11 “you will always have the poor among you….” So, for now, our goal is that no one goes hungry. Our Mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ by providing hot meals to those in need and by offering Christ-centered ministries to any individual who desires to participate.

The goal of HPC is to support men, women and children in crisis as they break cycles and build new foundations. We provide for the basic needs of food, shelter and safety, but also provide person-centered and holistic case management to assist our residents in accessing resources and support services to achieve recovery, learn life skills, and obtain employment and housing.

TCK and HPC need your support to continue providing critical services to those in need in Haywood County. Thank you in advance for your support!

With sincere thanks for your consideration.
