Haywood Pathways Center will be holding an Empty Bowls Fundraiser

What is an Empty Bowls Fund Raiser?

“Empty Bowls” is an international project happening at the local level to fight hunger. It is personalized by artists and art organizations in the community. Thus, each community event is independent. Due to its popularity and impact “Empty Bowls” now supports food related charities around the world and has raised millions of dollars to fight against hunger in local communities.

Our event:

Will take place on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Grace Church in the Mountains.  This year to help ensure the wellbeing of our guests the event will be a “drive through” event. Attendees will pre-purchase tickets online and on February 25th will pick up their “takeout” dinner at Grace Church in the Mountains. Each dinner will include a flight of soup, plus bread, dessert and a handmade pottery bowl created by a local potter. VIP attendees will choose the bowl of their choice when they purchase their ticket online.  Guests also will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets online or that evening for a chance to win items such as additional pottery and gift cards to restaurants.

All proceeds benefit Haywood Pathways Center to further the effort of Breaking Cycles and Building Foundations by feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, and reducing recidivism.
