Transform Lives Today

Haywood Pathways Center is a faith based 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization in Haywood County that provides adult and family emergency shelter, a short term residential program for individuals seeking life transformation, and a community kitchen providing meals to those living in the shelter and within our community.

Our services are open to residents of Haywood County regardless of age, race, gender, religion or nationality.

Haywood County Residents who are sober and drug free are never turned away for a short stay, but participation in the short term residential program requires the commitment to create and work on an individualized goal plan with our case management team which addresses 6 focus areas:

Life Skills
Social Support

Haywood Pathways Center is supported by individuals, churches of all denominations, community organizations, businesses, private foundations and corporate grants who believe all people are God’s people.

Adult Emergency Shelter

Haywood Pathways Center provides overnight and/or short term shelter for residents of Haywood County in crisis, or experiencing chronic homelessness. Typical length of stay: 1-3 nights

Family Shelter

Haywood Pathways Center provides short-term residential shelter services to homeless Mother's and their children. Call (828) 246-0332 to request a phone screening for Family Shelter. (Haywood County Residency Requirement)

Case Management

Haywood Pathways Center requires all residents to participate in professional one on one Case Management Services on a weekly basis.

Short-term Residential

An individualized, person-centered plan is developed by an experienced Case Manager who considers the unique factors causing homelessness. A plan is then created to help each resident achieve self-sufficiency. Program Length of Stay: 6 Months

Day Labor

The Day Labor Program provides pre-screened Pathways residents with the opportunity to work on a day by day basis, allowing them to earn a wage and save for housing. Perfect help for your project or 'honey-do' list. Call the office if you'd like to hire help.

Pathways Kitchen

We offer breakfast, bagged lunches, and a 'home-style' dinner served each night in our Dining Room. Community members in need of a meal are welcome to come for dinner between 5:30 and 7:00pm each night.
