Dear Potential Donor:
The Community Kitchen and Haywood Pathways Center are seeking support for our 2021 Unified Charitable Golf Tournament to be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Springdale Country Club. Both organizations are independent self-funded non-profits providing for the emergency needs of those experiencing food insecurity and homelessness in Haywood County. Working together, we seek to address the needs of the most vulnerable throughout all of Haywood County. This annual golf tournament is one of the primary sources of financial support for both organizations. Proceeds allow for the continuation of services to those in desperate need. We will follow appropriate protocols related to the impact of COVID at the time to ensure the safety and well-being of all present that day. Your support will help not one, but two organizations and the many people they serve.
Ace Sponsor: $5,000
Eagle Sponsor: $3,000
Birdie Sponsor: $1,000
Par Sponsor: $500
Tee-Box Sponsor: $300
Churches that may not be able to sponsor at the above levels are invited to help sponsor our volunteer shirts for a $100 contribution. Participating churches will have their name printed on the shirts that will be worn that day at the tournament and then throughout the community afterwards.
In addition to financial sponsorship, gift-in-kind donations are most welcome. This may include single or small quantity items (four of the same item is especially helpful) that will be used in our raffle and potentially as a contest prize. It may also be bulk items (11 dozen) that will be given to each golfer in their “swag” bag. Suggestions include,

The Community Kitchen’s ultimate goal is to close because no one is hungry. Until then Jesus tells us in Matthew 26:11 “you will always have the poor among you….” So, for now, our goal is that no one goes hungry. Our Mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ by providing hot meals to those in need and by offering Christ-centered ministries to any individual who desires to participate.
The goal of Haywood Pathways Center is to support men, women, and children in crisis as they break cycles and build new foundations. We provide for the basic needs of food, shelter, and safety, but also provide person-centered and holistic case management to assist our residents in accessing resources and support services to achieve recovery, learn life skills, and obtain employment and housing.
The Community Kitchen and Haywood Pathways Center count on your support and involvement to provide critical services to those in need in Haywood County. Thank you in advance for your support!
With sincere thanks for your consideration,
The Community Kitchen
