FIRST ANNUAL HAYWOOD PATHWAYS CENTER GOLF OUTINGOn September 16, 2017 Haywood Pathways Center held their first golf outing at Springdale Country Club – and what a day it was !! Nineteen teams competed for low gross score ( 1st, 2nd and 3rd), attempted to win a bright red Camaro with a Hole in One, as well as other prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin. The weather was perfect – one dark cloud the whole afternoon – but no rain. The post tournament appetizer buffet prepared by Pam Carter and her volunteers was sampled by guests as they listened to hear their names called for the golf prizes, raffle and/or silent auction.

Thank you to Pam and Craig Carter, tournament chairpersons, for their vision, their willingness to pull it all together, their hard work in obtaining donations of gifts and food and money, preparing the course, organizing the players – and their faith that God would bless us. Thank you to the participants, the sponsors and all the individuals and businesses who made donations of gifts, food and/or money. A special thank you to Eunice Tingle, owner of Springdale Country Club, for her generosity and help to make this event successful. We truly could not have done this without Eunice and her staff. Last, but not least, thank you to the volunteers, too many to name here, who worked alongside of Pam to make this event a success. Can’t wait to see what they do for 2017 !!!!
